Its Like Stabbing Myself in the Ear Repeatedly

There is definitely something wrong with me. Now, you all know I like Bon Jovi, but other than that I generally like harder rock and punk music. I love Hole, Babes in Toyland, Fugazi...stuff like that. So WTF is going on with me?

I am loving the Backstreet Boys song "Incomplete" for some reason. Never did I think the words "loving" and "BSB" would be in the same sentence unless the sentence was "I am loving kicking the BSB's asses since they are such wussies."

I got a certificate for 2 free downloads from Rhapsody. So today I downloaded "Incomplete" for free because it makes me feel like less of a sell out. Bah. I suck.

I really liked that song, when I heard who it was by, it was a complete letdown.

Sad really.

LOL! Too funny, I'm totally not a BSB fan at all. Can you blame hormones or something?

OMG!

I don't know if I can let myself visit your site anymore after an admission like that.

The horror!

Actually... if you like it, more power to you. Don't get locked down by a type of music... listen to a bit of everything and grab the ones you like. It keeps everything more intersting that way. Kinda like when I jump from Slayer to Willie to Peter Paul & Mary to Run DMC.... Who cares who it's by... as long as it gets you off, it's all good, right?

We all have laspes in our musical choices. I am ashamed to admit I own a JLo cd. Every time I look at it, I wonder what the hell I was thinking when I bought it. Oi Vey!!! BTW, Cool Blog!

That sounds quite painful! It's okay ...we all have lapses now and again ;0) Can you blame it on PMS or something? Hangover from the weekend? LOL!

well, maybe someone needs to quit playing with your heart (and ears), or you just want it that way.

i'm not into the bsb, but i can see the appeal - mid-30's trying to pass off as teens - yeah, there's something undeniably appealing about that - reminds me of the MILF in lindsay lohan's flick "mean girls".

I deleted my comment because I haven't yet learned how to spell!

What I meant to say was:

You have obviously been put under the spell of some evil genius...get off your computer and lock yourself in a room and lie low until the feeling goes away!

C'mon Jersey, what would Courtney say???

You are obviously off your marbles girl - just drink a shot o' vodka and all will be well, trust me ;)

I saw them on Ellen a few weeks ago and I will admit too that it was an ok song. But what I want to know is this....they have not been together for like a gazzilion years and now they are recording again. I thought we were rid of them. lol

You dirty sellout! How could you? I'm listening to New Jersey right now because I absolutely hate cleaning and it gets me off my ass and motivated ("Blood On Blood" rules). [Note to self, must step away from the computer, stop procrastinating, and get back to cleaning.]

LOL. That is what you call a "guilty pleasure!"

I do own a couple of Avri Lavigne tracks so I'm no one to point fingers. ;) But have you seen the BSB video for that song? HI-LARIOUS.

Now N'Sync is apparently trying to make a comeback. I'd say it's possible but has anyone seen Chris Kirkpatric lately? Can you say "no more dance routines in his future"?

Look out Fabio...sounds like BSB cardboard cutouts will be joining you in the Basement Bar soon!

I'm more partial to NSynch's "Bye Bye Bye" when I go off the reality track and into the dark scary forest of formerly hip boy bands.

I am such a sucker for bubble gum pop...whatever. I just bought the Will Smith cd because I love that Switch song- and the rest of the cd totally 100% sucks. I guess that's my punishment.

I have never bought any boy band song, but I am a total sucker for wussie music. I love a good ballad, whoever is singing it...ranging from rapper to classical singer.

Backstreet Boys, oh no! I still like you though! :)

Back Street Boys? Seriously?

I guess I haven't heard the song.

I haven't heard the song, I live in a place that's a little behind the times...

I won't tell Bon Jovi if you don't want me to.

I love Hole. My best friend makes fun of me because I'm 29 and still listen to punk. But I listen to tons of different kinds of music! It's Mozart for breakfast, Veggie Tales in the car, country on the weekends, and Christian music in between. I haven't heard this BSB song yet. Guess I"ll take a listen.
