You daughter has good taste in music. Or is that mom's taste in music?

TrueJerseyGirl said...

That's HER taste in music. I don't dislike it, but I prefer rock/alternative/punk. You should see her dance when "her songs" come on...priceless!

Hey I prefer rock/alternative too. How is she getting to hear this music? When I was little I listened to Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music!

Oh no. She is sooo much hipper than I am.

I think I've breezed through here once before but this time I took some time to look around. You are a very honest, compelling writer. I will be back.

There's nothing to compare to kid-joy is there? Pure, unaffected love of the moment. Intoxicating stuff. One of the best parts of being Mom is getting to feel it course through your bones and put a shine back on your heart when you dance together.

You're kidding me! My 5 year loves almost all of those songs. She sings the snoop song at school and made up a "cookie monster rap" to "Get that Dirt off your Shoulder". Too funny...maybe we were separated at birth:-)

Brilliant!
Helene loves Hey Ya! at the moment, which luckily I love as well. She is also a big Franz Ferdinand fan!

Can she set up my ipod with all of her great taste!

That's hysterical. My girls are still dancing to Laurie Berkner (if you don't know who she is, count your blessings. Her songs are evil earworms).

Thanks for stopping by my place!

Awesome! I also saw from your profile that you listened to Staind, which is quite cool.

Oh, Michele sent my by the way :)

Bon soiree

What is hysterical is to see Princess's face when someone else's taste in music is on... Oh, how I wish the girl would understand that she is REQUIRED to like Bon Jovi, Bruce, etc... Maybe at least we can go for Queen Latifah? SHE's a Jersey Grrrl!!!
