Lovely Day

Ah, what a great day today is!

My boss is off today, so I have a nice relaxed day. No, not really, I am still busy, but its nice to be boss-free.

I got asked to lunch by the coolest girl at the company, who hangs out with all the cool girls. Yay me! By association, I am now cool!

I am going to Gymboree today to spend my Gymbucks and get Princess her Christmas dress. Yes, its $52, but its so pretty and with Gymbucks I can basically get it for half price. And they have this little pink velour sweatsuit that says Princess on it. You know she needs that.

I have a cocktail party to go to after work today. I love that at least one couple I know is classy enough to have cocktail parties.

Tomorrow I have a wedding to go to, which I have mixed feelings about. In one sense I am not looking forward to it because its an hour and a half away and its a 12:30 wedding. And, I am not sure if they are having an open bar (a cardinal sin in NJ). But, I am looking forward to it because Patsy will be there too (they better seat us together...although, the groom has seen me and Patsy in full drunk mode, so he may try to keep us apart. He thinks we are crazy and probably doesn't want a scene at his wedding. Yeah, good luck with that.). That reminds me of the scene that Patsy's ex caused at my wedding. He got SO hammered that he pulled his pants down while some chick smacked his arse with a maraca. Then he yacked in the gardens, and passed out face down on the bathroom floor. My wedding was the most fun evah.

And then Sunday, while in hangover mode, I will be visiting EVERY SINGLE BLOG ON MY BLOGROLL. It may take me all day, but I will do it. Because I love you, really I do.

It must be 'boss free day' everywhere! My boss isn't here either. Princess definitely needs those outfits! Your wedding sounds like it was a blast! ;)

ooooooooooo, shopping. i don't think $50 is too much to spend on a christmas dress for princess, even without those other dollars. enjoy your weekend, nice to have a boss free friday to kick it off.

the dress is adorable, as well as the jacket. my husband calls our daughter princess, so she thinks (and acts) like one and has shirts and bags and a cap with the name Princess.;)

I'm boss-free too! Sounds like you have a busy, busy weekend ahead of you. Have a wonderful time and try not to embarass anyone (good luck with that!). ;)

Are you trying to say I'm not classy enough to have a cocktail party? Well you're right that sounds too fancy. If we're not sitting together tomorrow I will punch the groom in the neck.

My boss is out of town too. I work from home on Fridays but it's nice knowing I won't be getting any calls, instant messages or e-mails from him.

Congratulations on being recognized by the cool girl.

Boss free? What's that???? Just kidding, our boss is never at our location! Kinda nice!

Princess will look mah-velous in her nuw duds, I'm sure!!! =)~~

Now can I be your daughter too? I want a new dress really bad!!!! (Just kidding, not too into dresses, but a new pair of jeans would be good!)

Have fun at the wedding!

Your wedding was certainly festive! Hahahaha, the maracas bit is choice.

Already shopping for Christmas? Now I'll have to start looking. Hope the wedding is good.

Paartaay!!! Hope your great day continues! Have fun at the cocktail party and then with Patsy at the wedding. Try and enjoy it... whatever it ends up being. I have no doubt that you two can make any party an absolut blast!

Party up girl! Just drink some gatorade or water before crashing. It helps with hangovers.

Love the dress. You can always sell the dress on Ebay when you're finished with it, and likely end up spending near nothing.

Princess will be the belle of the Christmas ball!!

And, hey, I WANT your life!! I'm workin' on Sat. night!

Okay, seeing that dress makes me ALMOST want to try for a girl! It is soooo beautiful!

Maybe I could put my middle son in it for a bit. He has already got issues, so why not add to it.

And a cocktail party. You are so in with the cool group. Jealous here. So do you wear a cocktail dress then? Seriously, what is the attire for that kind of thing?

We hate hangover mode! We usually have it 7 days a week. Hmmm?

When I am boss free---the cocktail party starts at noon!

la la la I can't hear you said...

You were totally cool before you went to lunch with that girl. But now you might be even cooler.

Have fun at the wedding. If there's a cash bar cause more of a scene even if you are not as drunk, cause that is payback, you know.

How was the wedding? Hope you don't have a sore head - 'cos would that fit your image as a 'cool girl' at work?

It is boss-free day for me every day! My boss is in Germany, you see. It is just me and one other co-worker here at the site we work at, and luckily she's cool!

I checked, and I am still on your blogroll. So, I am going to have write something brilliant since you are going to come visit. Oh, the pressure.

I love, love, love the clothes you are getting (or got) Princess! I have boys, so I will have to enjoy the cute girl clothes vicariously through you and a few other bloggers with girls.
