What Did I Do Today?

1. I fired someone who has been with my company for almost 5 years. She thanked me.
2. I sent an employee home without pay who really needs the pay. She did not thank me.
3. I fought with a warehouse manager who thinks he is God when dealing with his employees. And I won.
4. I decided that maybe a trip to Amsterdam, even if for only a few days, would be worth it. I really want to go back to Europe. I am seriously thinking about this.
5. Its 2:15 and I am just having breakfast and taking a break for 10 minutes before my next meeting.
6. I have counted that there are approximately 42 hours before I get to see Nine Inch Nails in concert.

That's about it. What's up with you?

I think it's really just a need to get the hell away and Amsterdam has been dangled in front of you. I desperately want to go to Vegas and I don't even gamble or drink that much!!!

And good luck taking on God and winning! That kicks butt.

Depending upon when the trip to Amsterdam is, we might be able to split the time with Grammy & Pop to make it do-able for you. As long as we can work around our schedules, and it is after we move into the house, we should be able to keep her for a few days. We can't keep Jersey Dog, though, because of Newly Jersey Cats.

qaGlad to see your still alive and kicking.

Amsterdam sounds fun....we are going to Jamaica in September.

YaYa. You must come with us to Amsterdam. We have never gotten drunk together in Europe. This is a must.

It sounds tough in the job you have at times, True.

You sound like a jerk who takes herself WAY too seriously. I have a number of employees and would never reference their termination or lack of pay as a point of personal pride.

You really need Amsterdam, and the accouterments that come with it… play a little Bob Marley and stop trying to act like a tough ball-buster.
