Is This Totally Weird?

I just realized that I am going to see Barry Manilow in concert in January (yes, I know that fact is odd enough all by itself but I love me some Barry) and then to see My Chemical Romance in February and 30 Seconds to Mars in March. How many people do you think there are in the world who are seeing both Barry and either of those bands within a month of each other? Its very weird yet kinda cool, yes? Or no?

You want to hear something stranger? If forced to see at least one of the three you mentioned... I'd have to choose Barry.

While Manilow is not my thing, if that's what you like, go for it with gusto! At least you're versatile. :)

It's good to be eclectic; it shows you have an open mind. Since when did you care what small minded a-holes might think? And welcome back, btw!srgn

You're asking the same girl who likes Mick Jagger and Placido Domingo. And I've seen them both in concert!

You are a true renaissance woman ;-)

And I thought I was weird liking hockey and ballet! Good music is good music; you can't pigeonhole your tastes. (Maybe I can get through this comment without having to admit that I have NO IDEA who two of those groups are.)

Welcome back, happy late birthday to Princess, and have a wonderful Christmas!

Oh, there is nothing strange about it. And don't forget Lemonheads in February...

Definitely cool! Variety is the spice of life! The most interesting people have eclectic tastes :-)

Seeing Barry is cool. I saw him when I was 15 that was 400000 years ago... I am more of a JBJ fan and Springsteen, but I am thinking of going to see Theory of a Deadman...

Please tell me you didn't spend money on the Barry tickets?

Can't say I'm into any of the bands you mentioned, but... while I can see oddity in the wide spectrum of choices for concerts, it sounds like you've got a fun couple of months afoot.

Glad to see your back, even if only temporarily. Have fun at both concerts, it's like ying/yang.

Oh, I forgot. I know you're working, but did you see Jon Bon Jovi on Ellen the other day. The dude is totally the Dick Clark of Rock and Roll. Doesn't look a day over 25. The dude is HOT and I can say that even if I have a partner can't I?

Hot enough to bum rush for shizzel! And if I spelled any of this post wrong, so be it.
